My name is Don Scott. I am the managing director of Awdon Technologies, A New Zealand based engineering and software company that specializes in value recovery and process structuring for the forestry harvest industry.

For us to be able to see concepts in 3D, amending and changing them, before any construction occurs is invaluable. Time savings are huge as are savings in material and the minimisation of mistakes during construction.

I recommend the services of Coastal Concepts and am an advocate of 3D modelling with Google SketchUp. The costs, which are much lower than the cost of traditional draftsmen and their CAD software, are minimal compared to the potential benefits.

Coastal concepts have been invaluable in helping to design a new office and display site for our business. They initially listened to what we were trying to achieve with the space available to us. Using this information they created a model of the display and a walk through of the office interior.
